Support & Donate
Shotline Diving is a completely self-funded project.
There is no commercial backing, no sponsorship, no advertising, and no data being sold behind the scenes. Everything you see here – research, mapping, hosting, tools, and countless hours underwater and at the desk – is carried by the people who care about preserving and sharing this history.
Because of that, any form of support helps keep the lights on and the archive growing.

Why We Stay Independent
Remaining independent means:
- We can prioritize accuracy, safety, and respect for wrecks over clicks or marketing.
- We are free to say “no touching the wrecks” and mean it, without worrying about whether it sells anything.
- We can focus on documentation and education, not on pushing charters, gear, or ads.
In short: if something appears on Shotline Diving, it’s there because it has value to divers, researchers, and the broader community – not because someone paid for space.
Ways You Can Support Shotline Diving
Right now, support can take several forms:
- Share information – Dive logs, corrections, GPS fixes, historical notes, and local knowledge all strengthen the archive.
- Contribute media – Photographs, sketches, video, sonar images, and 3D models help bring each site to life.
- Help us improve – If you spot an error, a missing wreck, or an opportunity to clarify something, letting us know is a real contribution.
- Spread the word – Point other divers, historians, and students toward Shotline Diving if you think they’ll benefit from it.
